You probably have encounter walking along your local high street and noticed shops selling CBD oil and others, claiming to cure all sorts of health problems – including, in particular, the possibility that it could even be used to battle cancer.
With more states implementing medical marijuana laws (and passing it as legal in some), questions have still remained whether or not marijuana can really be used legitimately for medical conditions.
For cancer patients, medical marijuana may offer an interesting symptom management option. But due to the lack of clinical evidence available right now, we don’t know yet whether cannabis, or any of the chemicals in cannabis, are useful to treat cancer. For that reason, many health care providers advise patients to proceed using with caution or let them seek advice and thoroughly discuss available options with their physician prior to beginning treatment.
