
AGS Health, a provider of tech-enabled revenue cycle management (RCM) services, has expanded its executive leadership team with four appointments across commercial growth, AI and data, marketing, and customer success.
The move signals its push to accelerate AI-driven innovation as healthcare providers face growing reimbursement pressures and rising costs.
New roles target AI, data, and customer growth
Cheryl Cruver was named President, US Markets & Chief Commercial Officer. She previously served as Chief Revenue Officer and now has unified oversight of sales, marketing, customer success, and transition functions. Cruver will also help advance AGS Health’s AI-enabled transformation, according to the announcement. She brings more than three decades of experience helping providers use data and technology to improve financial performance.
Balaji Sundararajan was appointed to the newly created role of Chief Data and AI Officer. The position reflects the central role of AI in AGS Health’s strategy. Sundararajan will accelerate artificial intelligence development across product portfolio and operations, oversee data governance, and promote data literacy and responsible AI use. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Engineering and has more than 30 years of technology leadership, including two decades driving AI and automation innovation.
Susan Worthy joins as Chief Marketing Officer, leading global marketing strategy. She comes from Gainwell Technologies and previously held marketing leadership roles at Amwell, Optum, and Aetna. Joel Gleason was named Chief Customer Officer in addition to his role as Senior Vice President of Customer Success. He leads the customer success organization, working to deepen client relationships and help customers achieve business objectives through technology driven by artificial intelligence.

CEO says providers need a partner that anticipates change
Managing Director and CEO Patrice Wolfe said healthcare providers face a complex environment where reimbursement pressures, rising costs, workforce challenges, regulatory change, and evolution of artificial intelligence are converging.
“Providers don’t just need a partner that keeps pace with change.
They need one that anticipates it and turns it into a strategic advantage,” Wolfe said. She added that the new leaders bring “visionary thinking, customer-first mindset, and creative problem-solving.”
